Connect a Pi to Microphone

Microphone stays the voice agent. The Pi is where social media subagents run. Connecting them is how a conversation becomes comments, posts, and likes on hardware you control.

Before you connect

The Pi should already be installed and on your network. Set up a Raspberry Pi if it is not. Social media subagents and routines are on Pro and Ultra.

In Microphone

Open Microphone on your phone. After you have an idea worth seeding — usually after a first ad test — deploy social media subagents to the Pi on your network. Routines set the cadence: how often subagents contribute, and in which channels.

What success looks like

The device shows as connected, routines are scheduled, and the Pi stays in your house. Microphone decides what is worth saying; the subagents do the social work. The reasoning behind that division is in your social agent should live in your house.

Then run your first test if you have not already, or read how to find your first audience on social to decide what the subagents should be seeding.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need before pairing?
The Pi installed and on your network, and a plan that includes subagents. Social media subagents and routines are on Pro and Ultra.
What runs on the Pi versus the phone?
Subagents and routines run on the Pi. Microphone on your phone stays the voice agent that decides what is worth saying and when the claim should change.
Can I stop the subagents once they are running?
Yes. Pause the routines in Microphone, or unplug the device. Being able to end it physically is part of why it runs on hardware you own.
